Part of the Easyriders MCC History:

Year 1990 Easyrider members from Seinajoki decided to go under the same roof and they started to hunt for a proper club house. After a while rental agreement was made and in no time, eleven of us moved in to this 120 square meter space.

At the time it was small for us but friendship gave room for everybody. At the beginning space itself was everything else than practical, for example, if you want to go to toilet you needed to go around the house. Upstairs lived a couple at that time and for some reason they complained about our nightly startup’s.

Well, four year past over, and one day we was told that the building and surrounding property is for sale. We were worried about our destiny, thinking options that we had. Winter was close and we needed to get our bikes under the roof. One of us, Mika only native Easyrider from Jalasjarvi, took action and bought the whole building, what was a great favor for all of us. One night after that ownership changed, autumn storm tore off half of the roof. We all together started fixing and remodeling our club house, all nights and sparetimes were spent over there. Club house got completely new  roof, piping, electricity, some walls were taken down and new ones were built. At this point some of us moved away, sold the bike or maybe all this work was just too much for somebody.

Downstairs started to be ready, and then we came up with the idea to build apartments for five of us in upstairs, so the "complaining couple" were kicked out from there. Apartments were built and nowadays this building gives a home for five of us.

So here is a history how old Jalasjärvi skin factory became home of Easy’s and club house for everybody to visit. More future, because other hobby’s part of club house is working as a ‘studio’ and band training purposes. So if you visit us you may enjoy Sauna, refreshments, good music and maybe even live rock’n’roll music…You are always welcome to visit us, but remember, this place is home for five working men so please respect our privacy and behave like biker gent’s usually behaves.

Live to ride, ride to live!
